- Bible interpretation requests: When you request AI-generated verse, chapter, or book interpretations
Feedback Data (Optional)
If you choose to submit feedback:
- Feedback content: Your bug reports, feature requests, or general comments
- Device information: App version and platform (iOS/Android) for technical support
- Anonymous ID: A random identifier (not linked to your personal identity)

3.1 Firebase Services (AI Backend Infrastructure)
We use Google Firebase Cloud Functions as the backend infrastructure for our AI-powered features:
- Data routing: Your search queries and Bible interpretation requests are sent to our Firebase Functions endpoints
- AI processing: Firebase Functions then forward these requests to OpenAI’s API for processing
- Security: Firebase provides secure, encrypted transmission of your data
- No data storage: Firebase Functions process your requests in real-time without storing the content
- Infrastructure only: Firebase acts purely as secure middleware - your AI requests pass through but are not logged or retained
3.2 OpenAI Services
We use OpenAI’s API for AI-powered features (accessed through our Firebase backend):
- Data sent: Your search queries and Bible text for interpretation (routed via Firebase Functions)
- OpenAI’s handling: Please refer to OpenAI’s Privacy Policy for how they process this data
- Our commitment: We do not store logs of content sent to OpenAI, and neither do our Firebase Functions
3.3 Firebase Services (Other Uses)
We also use Google Firebase for non-AI features:
- Anonymous feedback storage: If you submit feedback, it’s stored anonymously in Firestore
- App analytics: Anonymous usage statistics
- Crash reporting: Anonymous error reports
